Einstein Activity Capture

This option is for users who prefer their emails to be automatically logged. Email activity from connected clients or devices, including Gmail, is logged by Einstein.

Steps Involved in Gmail and Salesforce IntegrationGmail & Salesforce Integration

  1. Using the Quick Find box, enter Gmail integration and select Gmail integration and Sync.
  2. Activate Gmail Integration by clicking the toggle button.
  3. Using the Quick Find box again, type Send through External and select Send through External Email Services.
  4. Click the toggle button next to Send through Gmail to enable it.
  5. Enter Email to Salesforce into the Quick Find box in the Setup and select the option.
  6. Ensure that the Active checkbox is selected. If not, click the Edit button and make it Checked, then click Save.
  7. Go to your browser to add Salesforce Extension for the Gmail Application. Click on Add to Chrome button to add Extension.
  8. Log into your Gmail account with your Org email account (if not logged in already).
  9. To log into Salesforce, enter your Salesforce Organization credentials and click Login.
  10. That’s all there is to it. Your Gmail and Salesforce integration is complete.
