In high demand Source Furniture expanded operations relocating its offices, warehouse, distribution center, and showroom to a new 100,000 square foot building located on NW 36th Ave in Miami, Florida. The Company now manufactures all of its own upholstery in-house offering a vast assortment of fabrics and weaves. Adhering to the strictest quality control measures, the dedicated and talented staff of artisans and craftspeople can fill special fabric orders in a matter of days further separating Source Furniture from its competition.

Challenge

The company wanted to enhance the order tracking and payment gateway systems. Securing payments is arguably the most important aspect of conducting sales. Once you have made all the efforts in persuading the customer and delivering the product/service to the, receiving the payment brings you to the end of closing a sales deal. However, in the age of digitization, the process of receiving payments should be given special attention. Though digital payments have made fund transfer faster than ever, there are high chances of unauthorized access and failure of payment.

There are several efficient payment gateways in the market that allow the customers to make secure payments to the sellers by adding necessary financial details. An average business organization has to make and receive a number of payments on a daily basis. Especially if you are an e-commerce company, it is important to keep a track of all the customer payments you received. As a business organization, if you choose to receive and make payments through the platforms of multiple payment gateways, keeping a track of all the transactions can get a little messy. There are multiple payments coming in from multiple sources and it becomes tedious for your sales and accounting department to organize these receipts in order to make periodic reports.

Solution

Salesforce Billing supports payment interfaces to process credit card and ACH transactions. Payment gateways are external service providers that process these electronic payments. Salesforce Billing uses out-of-the-box or API integrations to interface with a payment gateway. We have integrated the eComm platform to Salesforce and then implemented order processing, fulfilment, payment processing in salesforce along with Commission calculation for sales staff. Also implemented Payment Gateway – Stripe Payment to automatically process payment on the salesforce platform. Following were the highlights of the project:
